Compatibility with Bosch Classic/1st gen, Power Pack 400

Hi,

In the shop there are no details for the compatibility of the Bosch Infinity Kit and the mails only mention Performance line and newer.

  • Does the electronics work with the 1st generation of Bosch drive units (the one from 2012 according to the Bosch product history)?
  • Can I use the Bosch Connector plate and fixture or should I order the generic one?

Hello Tiziano,
for the moment it seems it doesn’t work (Vincent tried to plug it without success). We are planing to dig into this by listening to the CAN and see what is going through.

As for the cabling, you should take the generic version including the support in order to replace the battery and the support completelly.

Hi Alex,

thank you for taking a look at it. I do realise that the old Bosch system is not very high on the priority list. But is there any progress? Or at list some pointers on how complex the required modifications would be?
During the Indiegogo campaign you had some interesting posts sharing your debugging sessions. I think I could take it from there if it is not fundamentally incompatible, given there is access to the firmware?

Sorry, but we are a bit late on this. I hope we can start implementing some new protocols in the future, but for the few next months it is going to be complicated
