When I try to connect to my battery from the app it often fails and I’m wondering if anyone else has this problem. For me it only succeeds about 50% of the time. Sometimes I get a timeout error, other times it gets stuck waiting to retrieve device information. This has happened 100s of times - I use the app frequently as it’s the only way I can get an accurate SOC.

I have android (Pixel 10) but it also was the same on my Pixel 7.

I rerouted the aerial and now it’s much better. The free end is potted simply for tidiness and no other reason. Cut it as close to the potting as you can and lay it along the top of the battery. The other issue is that if it doesn’t connect first time I find I have to close the app and restart. Things are are far better with the aerial repositioned. Another issue I have found with ALL my Bluetooth devices is that they connect far better with a ‘clean’ OS. I run SD Maid right after start up then Bluetooth connects far better without the clutter in my OS.
