API, Open Source, Documentation?

When I first heard about the infinite battery, there was some indication that it would be open source.

Is this the case?

At the very least, is there an API and is it documented?

I would also be very interested in some more documentation.

In my case Iā€™m especially interested in something like a generic communication protocol via UART/CAN with the battery, or allowing for development of custom communication protocols to retrofit existing bikes.
