No Bluetooth Connection

Hi everyone. I am having trouble connecting to the battery via bluetooth on the app. The battery is switfly found but when I tap “Connect”, I either instantly get the Error “Could not connect to the device (timeout)” or it will do some connecting and then just get stuck on either “Loading configuration information” or “authenticating with battery(?)”. I have managed to connect once for the cell setup by endless retrying and a then twice again after the setup where i wanted to start a firmware update but the connection is gone again when I try to enter the wifi information.

What I have already tried:

  • Battery case open or closed
  • check antenna connection, reconnect
  • use the “Gouach Maintenance” Wlan - the battery connects to the hotspot but does not start an FW update - do I have to do anything to initiate the update?
  • try different phones, both are androd though
  • location services are allowed

Is there a way to reset the battery back to the “unconfigured” mode via the 2 buttons? When does the update via the “Gouach Maintenance” wlan start?

I will try another device and maybe try to find another antenna to try.

update: The web version on windows via edge works so it seems to be an App/Android issue. I can now see that I am on FW version v 1.1.0… and I have set up the wlan but there is no button to initiate a manual FW update?

it seems to be related to the phone even though I acknowledge that the Bluetooth connection needs to be enhanced.
If you managed to setup your wifi, then this is the only thing you need to do as we will be pushing the update from our side and the battery, if connected, will check if it should update as soon as it connects.
