Wifi not working

Hi

Tried to add wifi into battery - app allows me to add SSID and password - but just sits there and does nothing - eventually disconnecting from the battery.

Help please

You need to set an access point that is available for the battery, it’s not the batt that will become an access point.

Did you check the antenna cable?

Do you have an access point that shows you the connected clients? You could also use your smartphone as an access point and put it right next to your batt.

if you still encounter the problem:

  • check the SSID and the password, look for space at the end that should not be there
  • check on the app if the battery manages to connect
  • if not you wifi may forbid some protocols (like MQTT) either configure your firewall of wifi to be more permissive or use another wifi or just use your phone access point
