I’m on 1.7.2 and can’t get any voltage to my cycle analyst.
The battery LEDs are constantly on and the battery won’t go to sleep. The app doesn’t show the top row where you selected controller type, cell type and configuration.
And checking with the multimeter, there’s no voltage coming out of the battery dock.
I have tried to reset it, but it continues happening. Every now and then, all the LEDs turn white and it restarts.
How can I fix this? It looks like the battery is stuck and the app doesn’t show all the options I had when I set it up.
I’m writting a check procedure here to dertermine if the BMS is faulty:
Here are the check you should do if your BMS doesn’t output any voltage.
while the battery is on the support, does the output voltage changes when you press on the on/off button on the support ?
if no then, remove the battery of the support and measure the voltage between + and - while connecting the VD (Vehicle detect pin) to -. if this works (meaning you measure a voltage higher than 32V) then the support seams faulty. If not then go deaper on the BMS analysis.
with the BMS plugged to the pack, check again the previous test after having reboot the BMS (white button that should reboot the battery).
with the BMS plugged to the pack, measure the voltage between the two red circles and the green circle. It should be the same and steady (above 32V). If not then the fuse (white part between the red circles) seems to have triggered.
with the BMS plugged to the pack, measure the voltage between the capacitor pad that is circled in blue and the green circle. It should be about 5V. If not then the power supply seems dead
