Unplanned (non)destructive test

Yesterday I went for a ride and apparently I didn’t lock the battery on properly. At the bottom of a descent I was doing 60km/h when I hit a bump that resulted in the battery departing company with the bike. I heard the crack as it hit the tarmac the first time and then multiple bounces as it cart wheeled down the road. I can only imagine the G forces caused by the impact and thought for sure that would be the end of my infinite battery. However, when I went back to it the lights were still on so I plugged it back in and it continued to work flawlessly. Wow - this thing is really really durable. For sure it has some road rash, but happy to say it lives on. I will remember to always close that lock from now on
