Hi,
Thank you for the product, I like the concept of the infinite battery very much!
I just completed the assembly and installation yesterday. I went for a test ride this morning and everything worked fine for 15 minutes. Then the controller Bafang BBS1 switched off by itself. I could switch it on again but it switched off one more time about 10 minutes later. I have not seen this behaviour with the original battery. Any hints of where it could come from?
Thanks a lot.
Hello pat,
No this in not the correct behavior.
There are two possible issue that are corrected in new releases:
-v1.3 corrects some bug of the state of the battery.
-v1.6 corrects a bug that created fake shortcuts detection when the motor sent some surges of current (this can occur when the motor stops pulling some current as a back EMF)
The current process is that we ask you to send us a mail with you BMS id (once you setup your wifi) to push the update. In a short future, we’ll make it automatic.
Best
Hi Alex,
Thank you for getting back to me.
My BMS ID is 2bBrPF54TvnztSknjaDK.

Please let me know if I need to do something else.
Best regards,

Hi Alex
I had exactly the same behaviour yesterday on a 7 mile ride, controller turned off on my bbshd about 5 times.
My BMS ID is qOPdajT4kfnxfVCEgIgF
Incidentally I see firmware version is showing N/A and protocol is v1.0.0
