If you don’t want to wait for the Bosch version of the Infinite (here), there is a way to use the generic kit and the support on a Bosch ebike but it requires some tinkering and some welding.
Here is how:
1. Connection at the terminal block
The yellow wire (CAN H) goes with the yellow wire on the terminal block.
The green wire (CAN L) goes with the yellow wire on the terminal block.
The other two (red and black) same as bellow.
2. Inside the battery, you have to modify the connector wiring.
i apologize if the answer is already somewhere else or here, but i have somehow lost track of the development status for the Bosch System. I was under the impression this would be a seamless/swappable back and forth between the original Bosch system and the Gouach battery, but now i am no longer so sure.
May i ask for a brief summary and maybe a link to the latest update i might have missed please ?
Also, i ordered the battery mixer add-on, how will it work with the Bosch system when it is designed to work with 2 batteries only, also, will you provide at least some basic wiring diagram for it please ?
I am in no rush, so i am perfectly okay if the Team needs more time, i am just looking for a functional product, so please, do not interpret my questions as any kind of pressure at all
Again, many thanks for this awesome project and really well-run crowdfunding campaign to the whole Team @Gouach.
I’m not with the Gouach team and not able to answer your questions properly, but I thought I’d drop a somewhat hidden video by one of the founders. I think you may find it useful.
Also it doesn’t look like the Bosch hardware is fully finished yet, but it’s on pre-order in the store and says “Start shipping in September 2025”
Unfortunately there is a bit on issue with them…… bit of plastic preventing the charging plug fully inserting. You need the trim it out with a sharp craft knife.
Hi, I have also been looking for this mixer question for 2 Infinites in Bosch mode. There is a risk of generating a 550 error (non consistent current) because the motor is checking (on the CAN) that the current pulled out of the battery is equal to the current going in the motor. So if you use a mixer, you will be able to connect only one of the two battery CAN. and it will tell the motor that the current is more or less the half of the current that is effectively going in the motor. There is a chance that the motor detect this non-concistancy and raise a 550 error. I haven t tried but I found this info here : https://youtu.be/M3Hq88imJpU?si=7OwbI5CvQ5kUfLlH
