Hi, I’m planning on installing my battery this weekend. I can’t seem to find any instructions on how to assemble the new adaptor on the bike, I’m assuming I can figure it out, but hoped you guys might have some pointers!
It’s in the video instructions on the website. In fact you can use your own mount and lock which actually better. All you need to do is file down the lower of the two frame mounts level with the block it protrudes from. It’s then just a case of fine tuning it. I had to file down the inside edge of the bright metal on the battery but if you use the Bosch original mount you might not have to. Then all you do is fix the top mount to the bike by the single screw through the lower hole of the adapter to the remaining top hole. You will find you have been supplied with what looks like a superfluous piece of plastic but it is a mask to prevent damage to your down tube during the modification process.
