It has always been my practice to top up my old Bosch battery about an hour prior to my ride which always improved my range. I charged my Infinite battery last night to 100% and charging cut out. This morning charge is 95% so I plug in the charger and …nothing. At what level of reduced capacity does it accept a charge? It would seem I may need to stop charging and then finish off just prior to the start of my ride. Anyone else has the same issue (it isn’t a problem by any means just a matter of efficiency for me)?
Edit. If I sit there for a couple of hours smacking the battery to keep it awake then eventually it starts trickle charging BUT not enough to keep it awake on its own. I’ve been sat here smacking its ass for about two hours now and charge has reached 97% from 95%. I think I’ll charge initially to 85% then plug it in when arise from my pit in the morning of my ride. ![]()
. At least I’ve found my missing sense of humour I misplaced during the build and initial use. I suppose it’s to be expected with any new innovative project.
